Frequently Asked Questions

Why should we have a wedding video ?

At a wedding fair a presenter said: "I am holding two boxes, one contains your grandparents' wedding photos, and the other contains their wedding video. You can open only one. Which do you choose?" Every single person in the audience chose the video!

What effort is involved in creating a wedding video ?

We attend your wedding rehearsal (typically 2 hours effort), we have two videographers to capture your wedding day (over 12 hours effort each), and then we spend at least 40 hours editing to perfect your final video. Thats a total of about 70 hours of effort.

This attention to detail enables us to produce a wedding video that flow's smoothly from start to finish, combining the best camera views and audio tracks at any given time to enrich and evoke the viewer's emotions. We also include a highlight video which provides a concise view of the most significant events of your day. People remember quality productions, and want to see them over and over again.

Will there be many 'special effects' in the video ?

We usually choose not to use special effects such as slow motion, layered graphics, layered video, scene transitions, etc when editing your video. We much prefer the professional 'documentary style' since we believe a wedding video is all about capturing your memories as they occurred.

Will my wedding video last a life time ?

We want your video to last forever, thats why in our pursuit for perfection we only use premium grade media (typically not available in the high street). We provide you with 4 copies of the video and we recommend that one of these copies is never used for regular viewing, it should be stored away safely. We also keep a master copy of all our wedding productions.

What camera equipment do you use ?

Our aim is to perfectly capture your wedding day, and hence we use high quality video and sound recording equipment typically costing over £7,000. The primary camera at the wedding will be a broadcast quality camera, while the secondary camera will be a smaller unobtrusive model. Additionally we always bring a 'backup camera' for any unforseen circumstance. All cameras are selected to excel in 'low-light' situations. Our sound equipment includes professional directional microphones, and we also use secondary sound recording equipment during the ceremony and the reception.

What video editing software do you use ?

We utilise arguably the two best professional video editing packages in the industry, namely Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Studio. Our editing studio consists of over £10,000 worth of computer hardware and software.
